Hey y'all.
So I'm assuming you were expecting a post tonight, but I'm afraid I have bad news. All the photos on my camera were deleted at a party on Friday night, so I currently have nothing to share for Wednesday to Friday...
HOWEVER! I have a badass boyfriend who is gonna look for a fix for me. So expect a double dose next week.. Or possibly some blanks.. FINGERS CROSSED FOR GRUFF!

365: 15-21
Yo yo yoooo! Week 3 is here and this week was HARD. I'm already struggling to either remember to take a photo, or to find something interesting to take a photo of. Also this week was full of lazy days, which are great, but not when you're trying to find interesting things to take photos of! But here we go..
15/1/14
WEDNESDAY DATE NIGHT! Tonight I got into town a lot earlier than Gruff did, so decided to treat myself to a bit of retail therapy, and some new make-up! (It wasn't really a treat, I needed to buy new make-up as I lost my make-up bag while I was out on saturday and spent waaaay more than I wanted to) My favourite purchase is oddly the cheapest. That lemon Body Shop lip balm was £2 and is AMAZING. I did have the blistex balm previously, which is great in this weather, but I like this so much in a completely different way. It smells like sherbet lemon dammit! Unfortunately though, the reason why it was £2 is because it was in the sale, so I believe a discontinued item. Sad face.
When I finally met Gruff we had an average Nandos, and went to see 12 Years A Slave. Holy ravioli, what a film?! I haven't cried at a film like I did in a very long time. I don't want to say too much about it, only that you NEED to see it. Probably my film of the year.
16/1/14
Today was very odd. I got up super late, missed my first two lessons (whoops..) and then didn't do much after. I had a maths mock, which actually wasn't too bad, as I had already done it by accident. But when I got home, I just wasn't in the mood for anything, so had a long bath and gave myself a pedi. Looking at my feet in this photo makes me cringe - I still have an awful tan line from the summer!
17/1/14
Flan-day Friday! Saturday was Faolan's (my old supervisor) birthday, so we all met up for pre-birthday drinks that evening. Pretty much everyone you see here (except 2) are people I have worked with, so it also doubled as a really nice catch up with people I haven't seen in a while, and don't really get a chance to spend time with outside of work. Also, later that evening I had the BEST falafel wrap-y thingy from Magic Roll on Park Street. Really tasty, and also really healthy!
18/1/14
Saturday is always work. And let me tell you, there is nothing worth taking a photo of at work. Although.. As I think about that, my supervisor, Matt, was doing some great additions to the ladies in the paper while we were on our lunch break, which was good fun. He also told me about this (https://www.facebook.com/DrawingDicksOnTheHeraldSunTheDocumentary?fref=ts) which is rather hilarious. But other than work, I went home to Gruff where we had jacket potatoes and watched Ponyo - which is soooooo cute! I love Ghibli films and this might have been my favourite. I giggled like a little girl the whole way through!
19/1/14
We tried yet again to go to Cardiff this week, but it took Gruff so long to get dressed, it just didn't make sense to only go for a few hours.. So we went to Bath instead! As much as I like Bristol, I love Bath so much more. It's so cultured and pretty and I'd love to live there one day. We had a bit of a wander before getting some salted caramel and peanut butter fudge (my favourite being the salted caramel!) and trundled home. The whole day all we had said was that we were DEFINITLEY having steak for dinner and good god, my boy did me proud! Steak, wedges and gravy. Mmmmmmm. Damn it was so good! I'm so lucky that one of us can cook in this relationship! Sunday night we watched Goodfellas in preparation to see another Martin Scorsese film on Wednesday, which is a film I have never seen and don't understand why not. To be quite honest, after Ponyo being so adorable the night before, I was a little bored, but I was impressed nonetheless! I struggled keeping up with the lingo and who was doing what throughout the film, but I was thoroughly entertained, right up until the end, where they did the break-down of his final day, which I felt was paced really badly. Put me in a good mood for Wolf Of Wall Street though!
20/1/14
Mondays are always bad, but today was the worst. I got home after feeling crappy all day, to find that my housemate Kait was in the same kind of mood, so we just chatted about how rubbish life was. I cried a lot today, which I guess you need to every now and again, but there come a point where it just becomes a bit stupid and you just need to get a grip. So I had a cuddle with the only man who's always been there for me - Winnie the Pooh - and went to bed early.
21/1/14
After Monday being so crappy, today I decided to try and be better. Didn't quite work out the way I planned as I overslept AGAIN and missed my lessons, however I cleaned my whole room, did the food shopping and finished all my homework, so today ended up being quite productive! Gruff came over for dinner and we had veggie stir fry, which was okay, and neapolitan ice-cream, which was great! It was nice just to see him, even for a few hours and have a chill out and a cuddle.. And watch Spaced, as you can see in the photo!
Well yeah.. This week was a bit lame, but I'm setting my goal for next week to try and do something worth documenting every day!

365: 1-14
So here we go, the first two weeks of my year, in pictures..
1/1/14
So today might as well have been national hangover day and we thought we'd spend the day curing our hangovers by playing several board games with our friends. Adventure Time Monopoly was Gruff's Christmas present from me and was easily my favourite - the graphics are so cool!
2/1/14
The diet started today. I put on about a stone over the Christmas period, which is stupidly crazy, so as our first healthy meal of the year, I made me and Gruff veggie stir fry, and it was sooooo good!
3/1/14
Back to the rat race. First day back at work in two weeks. I was so tired at the end of today, I took this photo and went straight to bed.
4/1/14
Saturday! I worked today, but got back to Gruff's to discover he had invited a few of our friends over for more board games! (We're really into board games at the moment..) This is Carcassonne where you pick up pieces at random and make towns, roads and farms, and win points as you do so. I certainly recommend it!
5/1/13
Sunday brunch. Gruff made the most amazing bacon salad baguettes today while we watched The Walking Dead. We finished Breaking Bad a couple months ago and decided we needed a new series to fill the gap - and The Walking Dead had been highly recommended!
6/1/14
Monday, glum-day. First day back at school today, and believe me, that's not interesting! However today I made my first healthy meal of my own - Tuna Napolitana with peppers and sweetcorn. It was so good, Monday stopped being so bad after that!
7/1/14
Today I did my first run of the year. I am not a runner, and boy did it hurt, but I felt really proud of myself - I did a mile and a half in quite a respectable time for myself! Gonna try and keep this up in order to shed some of this weight.
8/1/14
Mine and Gruff's weekly Wednesday date night. We both are such big movie buffs and so we are trying to make the most of my Orange Wednesdays and see a film every wednesday for the whole year. Tonight was sushi (wish I'd got a photo..) followed by American Hustle which I thought was so-so. Gruff loved it and thought Jennifer Laurence was amazing in it. She was pretty funny, however the film just disappointed me. If you've seen Now You See Me, its got a similar kind of ending, where they drop a huge bombshell which is the complete opposite to what you were led to believe throughout the whole film and leaves you really confused. Also this film made me think that Bradley Cooper should stick to comedies, 'cause he came across so phoney!
9/1/14
Today was a huge lazy fail day. I was so tired after getting back late the night before and having such a long day at school, I got home and ate and just slept. Thought you might like to admire my onesie though!
10/1/14
Girl's night in! Me and my oldest friend Louise had a Friday film night and she came over for pizza, drinks and Pan's Labyrinth - which is an incredible film that you need to see! I really enjoyed myself, haven't had a girlie night with Lou in ages!
11/1/14
Oh Saturday. Work killed me today and I was so tired, but somehow ended up at Thekla, which is Bristol's party boat, with a load of friends from work. This photo sums up the night so well. This is about 3am, we're all very drunk and having all the laughs. Probably the best night out I've ever had. Me and Theo also invented the best game, where you have to go around the dancefloor in a really close group, dancing your way through as many groups of people as you can. They either get really pissed off, or join in! Hilarious :')
12/1/14
So today we were meant to go to Cardiff, but I had to go to the other side of Bristol to retireive my purse and the weather was awful, so instead we had a lazy gaming day. Gruff whooped my ass playing Super Monkey Ball on the GameCube and then decided he wanted to see me play Resident Evil 4, WHICH IS SO HORRIBLE! I am so bad at RE4. I just kept looking at the floor and screaming, which obviously Gruff thought was hilarious. Prick.. We also had an amazing lunch today. I had the pulled pork sandwich from Grillstock, which is literally the best food I've ever eaten. I could live on their pulled pork!
13/1/14
Monday was back to school, and with mocks coming up, this is how I spent my day. Not fun :(
14/1/14
Today was the worst. I got up late, was so tired today, dropped all my dinner on the floor, and the to top it off, ripped the last pair of trousers that actually fit me! I hate all the weight I've put on. All my clothes are so uncomfortable and now my only comfortable trousers are ruined. Sucky day all round.
So there we go! The first two weeks of my photos this year. In the next post, I will probably only do a week's worth, so stay tuned!

a picture every day?!
Hello!
So when the clock struck midnight on the first day of 2014, I was thinking about my new year's resolutions and I decided to do something a bit different..
This year I am going to take a photo EVERYDAY to document my life, and later on I will be starting another project called Imi Is Not Tv, where I will be doing my own daily vlogs as part of a school project - so stay tuned for that!
Let the photos BEGIN!
